Years ago when I was introduced to Diptyque I fell in love with the perfume Philosykos that truly reminded me of figs, the green fruit. Up to then my favorite figs were the ones you can actually eat. After that many more favorite perfumes followed, shower gels, and body lotions. The candles are pretty addictive and I truly love to burn several complementing candles like my favorites Pomander which smells like freshly baked apple pie and Feu de Bois during winter time, Figuer and Amber during summer time.
L’ART DU SOIN takes the pleasure further: a new range skincare range especially developed for the face, formulated with benefits of natural ingredients. The scents are amazing and have original, luxurious textures to stimulate and soothe the senses. The infused facial water for example contains vitamins, minerals and works as a skin toner.
If you really want to boost the skin you might want to try the Japanese inspired radiance boost powder with a cocktail of vitamin A, C and E and minerals to give that healthy glow to the skin. The powder transforms into a foam when it comes in contact with water making it silky soft. A surprisingly radiant effect really. The protective Moisturizing Lotion is airy, works calming and soothing on the skin and can be used as a moisturizer facial serum or even over a foundation as it contains an SPF15.
My favorite loveable products in this range are the Nourishing Cleansing Balm and the Multi Use Exfoliating Clay. The Balm smells like roses and geranium. And this part I like; due to the warmth of the skin it transforms into an oil, then when adding water it gets a milky texture resulting in fabulously fresh and soft skin. The clay is a facial scrub and mask in one and smells like violet. If the radiance Boosting powder doesn’t do the trick this sure will.
