This season, Peter Copping creates a collection that is mildly nostalgic, inspired by an imaginary
young girl exploring the wardrobe of her mother, grandmother and former generations. Seizing
upon the dressing-up box, clothes are unpicked, re-sewn, cut up and reassembled in an individual manner.
A lot of tweed run throughout this collection. Weaved onto organza for lightness, lurex for that bright shininess, enhanced by lace and printed on silk chiffon. Double-faced cashmere, dry and felted wool, washed lamé and scarf-like silk. Real fur meets fake fur. Light-catching embellishment forged with sparkling jet beads, sequins and lots of crystal.
