As a make-up artist and beauty fetisjist, being invited to an exclusive beauty masterclass with face designer Massimo Locorondo can be called a privilege. There is always more to learn and what better way than by sharing knowledge while experimenting with beautiful Armani products. As a lipstick addict the Rouge D ’Armani lipsticks are always in my bag. No just one but a couple, as I love mix thing up.
Back to the masterclass: What I love is the way a flawless looking complexion is build up. Starting with Armani’s Crème Nera Extrema (50 ml |€ 200) which is a perfect creamy skincare product that leaves skin looking smooth and prepped due to the gel-like texture. The luminous silk foundation make-up ( with an SPF 15 is a lightweight foundation which leaves skin looking radiant and dewy.
I always mix this with the quite new Luminessence CC color control bright Moisturiser in nr.7 which gives my skin that extra sheen. The fluid sheer (€47,50) in nr.5 is my new best friend as it adds a hint of color on the cheeks and can also be used as a highlighter. This collection comes in 12 colors for you to choose from. And yes, also for darker toned skin.
Another great product Massimo used is the Maestro eye & brow (€35). This multitasker comes in nine colors and can be used as an eyebasics (as a basic color or before adding a color op top) or to fill in the brows. It sets the brow without making it too heavy. When using it as an eyebasic you can use one of the eyetint colors which acts as an crème eyeshadow with blending time. You don’t need to add anything on top, but you can if you want an intensified effect. The eye tints are buildable which is great. Add two coats of the intense black “eyes to kill” mascara (€34) and you are good to go.
Finish your look with the perfect mix of lip products. Start with Rouge ecstasy in for example Red Spice nr.404 (for a sheer red looking pout (€34). Then add a lip maestro semi –matte lip laquer in the same color on top for a little more intensity.
By the way, during the masterclass I couldn’t take my eyes of the lab Armani Runway collection. An range of pigment and textures that were used during fashion week. A must have for a dewy and fresh looking complexion this summer.
