If there’s one make-up product you should purchase this spring, I wouls opt for a great looking bronzer. And not the color that makes you look like an orange, but a bronzer that has the kind of color that says: briefly kissed by the sun. Yes, also darker toned skin can appreciate a little extra warmth, especially when you have a darker toned skin with a yellow undertone, just like me.
I found a match with the Guerlain Terracotta Four Seasons (€ 51,70) that has an integrated blush. Not that I don’t have one, or several for that matter. The thing is, if you are a woman of color you tend to go for the brands that obviously carry products for darker toned skin, like M.A.C Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, and Make-up studio to name a few.
How refreshing to know that the Guerlain Terracotta bronzer has the right amount of pigment without your skin looking ashy. The Terracotta Jolie teint (30 ml/ €39,30) which I am really fond of, gives the skin a polished effect and contains an SPF20. I’ve tried the color Ebony. Mixed with a hydrating primer and a little of the fluid sheer by Armani (30 ml /€64,55) or the luminous silk ( 30 ml/ €49,50) foundation (another favorite) eer bit gives skin a noticeably dewy and sheer effect. Definitely something you’ll want to look into this spring.
