Marc Verstreken @ Cosmeticary Antwerp has an eye cream fetish. Meet his top 5 favorites

I have known Marc for several years know. He is a cosmetics know it all, store manager of Cosmeticary in Antwerp and has a severe eyecream fetish. A few years ago I asked him about his favorite eyecream. Read the interview here. As years go by and we get a little older including receiving the wrinkles we get for free, I wondered if his choice in favorite eye cream had changed over the years.

And this is what he said: “Here we go again! Yes…I’m still having the eye cream fetish thing. Not that it’s easy choosing your requested top 5 because over the years I’ve tried hundreds, but I did my best”. Find Marc’s very favorites below.

At this moment I am using Dr.Brandt’s DNA Triple Peptide Eye Cream (€ 79,00 ). It’s proven that peptides are responsible for the stimulation of the collagen production. I like using this cream as it shows some fast results. The creamy texture is comfortable and de-puffing at same time.

Another holy grail eye cream is the No Puffery Mask from Origins (€30,00). It has a fast action de-puff effect so amazingly ideal as a after party, after a party. an party (You know the evenings when you had to much wine). It really works wonders on tired eyes. For those moments that u really need some short term no time to waste solution. Unfortunate for me it’s hard to find in Belgium.

A big favorite is the Eye Renewal Cream from Revive (€140,00). It’s kind of a smoothie. Packed with anti-oxidants from grapes, pomegranate, acai, blueberry and coffee berry to name a few. It is simply proven that these ingredients keeps your skin looking younger.

The Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado (€25,00) is one that I adore during winter when skin needs that little extra. I’ll dab it over an active eye treatment to protect and keep the skin around the eyes moist and dewy. This product has the perfect ingredients to achieve this effect.

The almighty Repair Eye Serum from Laura Mercier (€80,00) is my miracle worker for those moments when I thinks I start seeing some fine lines. Don’t ask me how, but they really disappear after a few days of using this elixir. It really evens out skin. It also contains light reflecting ingredients to brighten up the eye area and works as a great base before applying concealer.
