Bronzing powder 24/12

Just like me women use  a bronzer all year long. Others think it’s only a summer must-have. Bronzing powder is a make-up item women are very fond of and they unfortunaley hardly change their mind about it.

It’s a perfect multi-tasking product: you can use it on face and décolletage to achieve a sun-kissed look, but you can also use it on or after a holiday to enhance your tanned complexion and prolong the radiant effect.

The most classic bronzing powder is THE Terracotta by Guerlain, an iconic product. Make sure it’s not a bronzer with a reddish undertone, otherwise it might look as if you’ve been sunkissed to hard. Opt for golden or maate bronze color instead. blondes get pink tones, while brunettes get gold accents.

This year, two more nuances have been added to the range of six best-selling shades, so as to re-create a tone as close as possible to the natural tan of each complexion (for example, blondes get pink tones, while brunettes get gold accents). The finish changes but the scent remains the same, delicately sensual, a mix of orange blossom, mandarin, jasmine and vanilla.

Laura Mercier has great looking bronzers, like the mineral version in warm bronze with an SPF 15. Bobbi Brown and Inglot has a beautiful range that are natural looking. For those who suffer from this late summer heat, MAC offers Magically Cool Liquid Powder, a super-light powder that illuminates your complexion and gives an immediate cooling effect, thanks to a formula containing 70% water.

Have fun choosing your bronzer this season.
