Most women like lip products. You probably have loads of lipstick’s, lipgloss, and balms to last a lifetime. Maybe you a signature shade, or like me, you like to experiment with different lip products. Anything goes when it comes to lips!
Treating your lips:
Before applying lipstick or lipgloss invest in al lip product that nourishes and moisturizes. Cover you lips with a thick coat of balm. Give the lip balm the time to sink in a do its job, the remove the excess of lip balm before applying your make-up.
Here a some of my favorite lip balms that I love to use as a lip primer:
This is a first aid for sore chapped lips. Zinc oxide comforts dry lips and acts as a natural sunscreen, while the menthol cools and freshens. You can use the Kiss Mix under lipstick as a moisturizing base and over it to add that pouty shine.
A luxurious emulsion that helps lips look and feel smoother and softer. It relieves discomfort and helps heal seriously dry lips. A patented Lip Lipid Complex delivers moisture and strengthens the delicate barrier to help prevent damage. La Mer lip balm has a slightly cooling feel, and has a sweet taste to it. Lips feel smoother, softer, and plumper. Warm balm with fingertip and apply with a light, patting motion on lips, above and below the lip line.
Chanel Soin tendre levres delivers a hint of colour combined with exclusive nutrition system to repair, hydrate and perfect. Patent-pending formula contains amino acids, vitamins and minerals to smooth and condition; SPF 15 protects against UV damage. You could use it on its own or apply a lipgloss or stick on top.
Tip: Drink enough water! Lips dry out quickly and get dehydrated. Also don’t forget to scrub your lips frequently. You could use a special lip scrub, a gentle face scrub, or even a toothbrush.
