Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation SPF 15

Nobody wants a cakey affect when it comes to foundation. It should look fresh and natural, like a natural second skin. My favorite Bobbi Brown foundation’s to work with are the Skin foundation with SPF 15. It’s water based so it’s ideal during summer.

I am fond of the natural finish long lasting foundation with SPF 15. This version is perfect during winter or for evening wear as it is slightly thicker and gives more coverage.

Also it has anti-aging benefits and helps to boost the skin’s natural collagen
to firm skin. A luminous looking skin is as healthy looking as it gets, and adds that glow to the skin we all crave for. In the end I tend to mix 2 out of the three to create the exact look and feel.

The new Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation SPF 15 stays put the entire day. As it is gel based it’s ideal for those who have oily skin, without clogging pores. No more excessive oils on the skin. Well, I like that idea. They come in 20 colors from porcelain to Espresso, so there is something there for everyone. This foundation is added to my Bobbi Brown favorites. What about you?

Here are some of Bobbi Brown’s foundation tips:

Before applying foundation, prep skin with oil-free moisturizers like Oil Control Lotion SPF 15 or Protective Face Lotion SPF 15.

Use a brush – not your fingers – to apply Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation SPF 15. The oil from your fingers can mix in with the foundation and affect how it wears.

Set foundation with powder. For the sheerest application, use a Powder Brush to dust powder on your forehead, cheeks, and nose, where skin tends to be oilier.

If additional coverage is needed around the nose or on blemishes, use a touch up stick to cover any redness or discoloration.

In the morning, skip eye cream on your eyelids. The emollients in the cream will cause any eye shadow you apply afterwards to slip right off.

The Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation SPF 15 is available from september 2012
