I received a zillion of requests on beauty tutorial video’s so I thought it was time and fun to start with my personal favourites and how I apply them. Find all the used products and how to on below.
But first SKINCARE
When I use fluid basics I really rely on my fingers to do the job. As skin is warm I find it blends in more easily when using my fingers. After applying skincare that usually contains a day serum by Bioeffect, I apply Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic crème as it really works magic for the skin.
Step 1: I used a cocktail of primer which you can also apply under the eyes. One of my favourite waterbased primers are the hydrating primer and primer protect SPF 30 by Laura Mercier. I mixed a little Glam Glow in to it by Charlotte Tilbury’s. for the extra sheen.
Step 2: The I added a foundation cocktail containing: of Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer in Walnut. To smooth everything out and make it more even I used a stick foundation in nr.11 by Tom Ford. I am very fond of this product.
Step 4: One of the finishing powder I love to use is by Francois Nars. I used the color Jamaica which is unfortnuately discontinued, so as we speak I am looking for a perfect match that will be able to do the exact same trick.
Tip: The translucent and universal finishing powder by Laura Mercier is one of the best. Especially if you don’t want to add color to your perfectly applied foundation.
Whatever you might invest in always use a primer before applying any liquid foundation. It really carries your carefully applies flawlessness a long way. Remember, when it comes to the basic less is always more. Naturally you can use as many products as you want but make sure to blend for a natural looking finish.
