Tola is an exclusive perfume brand launched in 2013 by Emirati entrepreneur Dhaher Bin Dhaher. The name ‘Tola’ comes from a unit of measurements used to weigh the most precious materials, such as gold, oil and perfumes.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dhaher Bin Dhaher in Amsterdam. You can imagine what a treat it was to hear him talk so passionately about perfume, his brand Tola and in particular the reason to start Tola, which has everything to do with his mother and eldest sister. For instance: Ayama, a spicy, woody and amber perfume with a beautiful story to tell, is dedicated to his mother.Â
After experiencing the full range of 14 perfumes, I fell in love with the perfume called: Seba by Tola which is described as an amber floral scent. It has the sweetness of strawberry anise and violet leaves at the top, heliotrope, orris and Gardenia in the middle. In the base you’ll find my favorite Musk, Vanilla and Amber. (50 ml | €225)
