Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Blush

What a little blush on the cheeks can do for your face is more than most people even think about. If you have pale skin, a rosy or peach color can brighten up your face and create that healthy-looking glow. Next to that, blush can make your complexion appear more awake.

From a make-up artist’s point of view, I love to play around with blush. When applied on the high point of the cheeks in a slightly fuchsia or burgundy color, it can create a contoured lift while pronouncing the cheekbones. This is a nice trick when you have a natural-colored apple on the cheeks and want to create a more defined face shape. (15 ML | € 29,50)

The new Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer blush makes it all the easier to play around with blush, as the consistency is quite sheer yet buildable. They come in 14 shades from which I have tried: Provence, Mistral, Parasol, and Corsica. Especially the last two shades are complementing on darker-toned skin. Apply it by using your middle finger, then dab by using your ring finger. A little goes a long way.
