A good under-eye concealer brightens up the area, makes you look rested, and can nibble off a few years, stimulating a fresh-looking gaze. Over the years I’ve tried a zillion different concealers. Recently I tested the promising Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate concealer. The shade and illuminate concealer contain moisturizing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid. It’s crease-proof and helps to address circles and fine lines. I like the comfortable feeling on the skin and the way it helps to illuminate the under area.
The concelaer is a little more sheer than I expected, but on the other hand, it leaves room for a little layering. Next to concealer, you can use it as a highlighter underneath the brow bone to create a subtle lift and overall brightener, and as a contour underneath the cheekbones to shape. (depending on the shade of choice). It doesn’t come cheap, but it’s going to be worth your while.(5,4 ml | € 78)
