I was quite excited and a little skeptical about the new Charlotte Tilbury watercream. After all, it promises to moisturize the skin for up to 100 hours, leaving a freshwater glow. Would it live up to the expectations and would it add extra benefits in comparison to the original?
At first glance, I noticed the difference in consistency. The Magic Water Cream is lighter than the original and tends to absorb more quickly. The gel formula creates a subtle glass effect but doesn’t leave a residue on the skin. I love the way it seamlessly works with make-up, prior to a a primer and foundation. My skin really does feel hydrated and plumped for a longer period of time during the day. (50 ml | € 95.00)
